澳出台"亞洲世紀的澳洲"政策文件

據路透社報導，澳洲制定促進與亞洲經貿關係的長期計劃。目標是在2025年以前將與亞洲的貿易在該國經濟中所佔的比重從四分之一提升至三分之一，特別是通過加強與中國、印度的合作。總理吉拉德稱，這一個世紀亞洲將重返全球領導者的地位。目前，中國是澳洲最重要的貿易夥伴，超過日本、美國和韓國。

在軍事安全方面，新的政策文件"接受中國的軍力增長，視之為經濟增長與利益面拓寬的自然與合法結果"。文件稱，任何旨在遏制中國的政策都不會奏效。
