Youth and Politicians - the communication gap

No, the preconception does not hold true: young people in Germany actually are interested in politics, according to a scientific study. More than 80 percent of 16- to 19-year-olds surveyed said they found politics interesting. The problem is that young people don’t understand what the politicians are telling them. We pursued the question of why communication is so difficult.
