After Iran's crackdown on Afghan migrants, Rahela and her daughters returned to Herat, Afghanistan. Now under Taliban rule, Rahela is confined at home without a male guardian. Her daughter Sahar, barred from education in both Iran and Afghanistan, faces a bleak future. Girls are banned from secondary school, with madrassas as their only option. Faiza, once aspiring to be a doctor, studies Quranic sciences, hoping for change. Despite despair, Sahar clings to hope for regime change and educational freedom.
