Utah suspect in Charlie Kirk shooting turned in by family

Authorities in the United States say they've captured the man accused of killing right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk. The 22-year-old Utah resident was turned in to police with the help of family members. Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a university campus.

Authorities have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of MAGA activist Charlie Kirk during a rally at Utah Valley University.

The breakthrough came after a family member alerted police. Over 7,000 tips were received in just 33 hours.

The motive for the assassination remains unclear, but charges are expected soon.
