US expats move to Spain, leaving Trump's America behind

More and more Americans are moving to Europe in search of political stability and greater tolerance. Some are finding new homes in Spain.

US President Donald Trump's style of governing has triggered criticism and consternation among citizens in his own country. Fear is growing about a deepening and lasting social divide.

While some critics take to the streets to protest against Trump’s presidency, others are taking personal risks by moving abroad.

Courtney and Shera is a queer couple who have decided to settle in Spain. So have Susie and Chaz Hamilton, who moved to Madrid, Spain's capital, and found a new home there.
