UK's Polish community keeps tradition alive

Around 750,000 Polish citizens are estimated to have settled in the United Kingdom since their country joined the EU in 2004. Polish shops, restaurants and culture have now become a defining part of London's urban environment.

Did you know that around 750,000 Poles are living in the United Kingdom? Many arrived when Poland joined the European Union back in 2004.

Zula Rabikowska, a photographer, was one of them. While Brexit caused some friction for the Polish community, it's currently thriving. But Rabikowska still feels overlooked by British society, so she's taking steps to put her culture in focus.
