Taxi drivers in Germany are challenging the Uber ridesharing service in court

The service offers customers a cheaper alternative to conventional taxis by picking them up in privately owned cars. So far 12,000 unlicensed drivers have registered with Uber in Germany. Taxi drivers accuse them of unfair competition.
