Hundreds of millions around the globe found themselves captivated by the live media coverage of the funeral of Pope John Pope II.

Newslink broadcast a three hour special - a live relay of the ceremony interspersed with expert analysis from Helmut Ruppert, head of Germany's Catholic News Agency KNA and Deutsche Welle's Angelika Ditscheid. The programme was presented by Erik Campano.
