The onslaught by ISIS has caused particular concern in Britain. As America’s main partner in the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, the UK takes a close interest in that country. And not just as a matter of foreign policy. Because of their own large muslim population, the Brits are worried that the upsurge in violence could come uncomfortably close to home.
