The Planned New Sanctions Against North Korea -- and Possible Reactions

11/06/09June 11, 2009

The permanent members of the United Nations Security Council have agreed on a draft resolution in response to North Korea's test of a nuclear bomb last month. German Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier told a news conference following talks with his Russian counterpart that the resolution would be put to vote on Friday.
