On Sunday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that US was considering putting North Korea back on the list of states that sponsor terrorism.

On Monday, two American journalists were sentenced to 12 years hard labour in North Korea for unspecified "grave crimes".

The TV reporters, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, were found guilty by North Korea's top court of allegedly entering the country illegally.

The two women were arrested three months ago on the Chinese-North Korean border. The United States has expressed deep concern and demanded the immediate release of the two women.
