Demographic change is a reality in Germany, where the population is aging and the birth rate is low. To address this change, Germany’s main rail service, Deutsche Bahn, has instituted a program.
This program is developed to help employees stay fit mentally and physically as they grow older. It was developed by Andreas Kruse, a researcher at the University of Heidelberg. Early results show that employees who take part are seeing measurable benefits, including improved physical fitness, memory, and concentration.
