Siegfried Bülow: Bringing Porsche to Leipzig

After reunification, Porsche played a key role in the revitalization of Leipzig. Siegfried Bülow, who heads the Porsche plant in Leipzig, played an instrumental role.

The Porsche plant in Leipzig was built from the ground up. Since its opening in 1999, the number of workers at the factory has increased fourteen-fold. Now the factory provides jobs to 4,000 people and is a lynchpin of the local economy. Three different Porsche models are manufactured here.
