Hot on the heels of Germany's Angela Merkel and Britain's Gordon Brown, French president Nicolas Sarkozy has become the latest European leader to visit India in a bid to expand ties with the booming country. During their talks in the Indian capital New Delhi Sarkozy and Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh agreed to boost co-operation in the fields of defence, civil nuclear energy and trade.
