The UN chief Ban Ki Moon has called on rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo to lay down their arms and withdraw from the eastern city of Goma. The so-called M-23 militia is threatening to topple President Joseph Kabila. Attempts by regional African leaders to mediate on the weekend failed to stop the fighting. President Kabila says withdrawal from Goma is a condition for any dialgue with the rebels.. we hear from family caught up in the midst of this conflict.
