Mentally ill and homeless during a Canadian winter

The vast majority of homeless youth in Canada live with mental illnesses. At this time of year they're particularly vulnerable due to the extreme cold of a Canadian winter. Access to services can be difficult for many reasons and life on the street can compound the challenges they already face.
