Paving the way for Stolpersteine in Munich

If you’ve been to Germany, or elsewhere in Europe, you may have seen so called Stolpersteine or “stumbling blocks” to give them their literal translation. They're actually small brass plaques embedded in pavements that commemorate some of the victims of the Nazis. But they've been banned in Munich since 2004. And that's a source of controversy in the city that was the home of the Nazi Party.
