As the Israeli military urges the evacuation of Gaza City, residents are forced to make impossible choices. With no money, no shelter, and nowhere safe to go, many say they're being displaced again into catastrophe.

About a million people in Gaza City are facing intensified Israeli bombardment and a final evacuation order. But residents say there is nowhere safe to go.

"They tell you to go south, and there you find death staring you in the face," one woman said. With no money or transport, many Palestinians cannot afford to flee.

While Israel insists the offensive aims to eliminate Hamas, civilians report being targeted. Many fear permanent displacement and say they are caught in a catastrophe.
