One year after Gezi Park

This week marks the first anniversary in Turkey of the mass nationwide anti government protests known as the Gezi Park movement. The demonstrations were sparked by plans to turn a park in Istanbul into a shopping mall and threatened the more than decade long rule of Prime Minister Erdogan. As Dorian Jones reports from Istanbul, the Gezi Park protests still remain relevant to Turkish politics.
