Moscow hosts Eurovision rival music contest after ban

Europe's Eurovision Song Contest is infamous for its over-the-top musical performances and the controversy surrounding participants and winners. Banned from the event since its invasion of Ukraine, Russia has now hosted its own, globally aligned show, called Intervision.

Russia has revived its own international song contest, Intervision, bringing together artists from over 20 countries — including India, Brazil and South Africa.
