Katharina's main focus is on international trade, Europe and Latin America, energy, logistics and economic policy issues.
After studying journalism and political science in Munich, Katharina completed a traineeship and then worked as an editor and reporter at Sender Freies Berlin. She has been with DW's business news department since 1996.
