Israeli leaflets tell Gaza City residents to flee south

Despite international concern, the Israeli military is stepping up its offensive in Gaza City. Airdropped leaflets tell Palestinians to evacuate. However, many fear that if they heed the order, they will never be able to return home.

Israel has dropped evacuation leaflets over Gaza City, warning residents to flee south ahead of a planned military invasion.

The United Nations has warned of the "catastrophic" fallout of the operation, citing the destruction of vital civilian infrastructure.

Many Palestinians are conflicted about the evacuation order, fearing permanent displacement.

A US post-war plan for a Mediterranean Riviera in Gaza has deepened concerns for the fate of Palestinian territories.
