Inside Europe - UK snap election

British PM Theresa May has called a snap election for June 8. Pundits say she's keen to shore up support for Britain leaving the EU by seizing on the current weakness of the main opposition Labour party. By holding an early election, she'll avoid going to the polls in 2020, when Britain's negotiations with Brussels over the terms of Brexit may well have stalled. Nik Martin reports.
