India Celebrates 150th Anniversary of "First War of Independence"

Dozens of Indian soldiers from Meerut rose up against the British East India Company, paving the way for India's independence 90 years later. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said the uprising was a "tribute to traditions of Hindu-Muslim unity".
