Global Snack: Pie from New Zealand

Charlotte WilczokJune 28, 2011

We visited "The Fridge" in downtown Auckland, New Zealand. It's famous for pie - a New Zealand specialty.

Pie crusts can be filled with almost anything: vegetables, eggs, meat and cheese. The pies are shaped like hollow muffins, but are slightly larger.
New Zealanders eat pie at every meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner - and sometimes as a snack.
