German, Nigerian musicians rehearse for Beethovenfest show

This year, Nigeria is featured at Bonn's Beethovenfest. DW traveled to the country's largest city, Lagos, to meet the Nigerian and German musicians rehearsing together ahead of their concert in Germany.

Young musicians from Germany and Nigeria come together in Lagos for the Campus Project, a cultural exchange by Beethovenfest, Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle and the German National Youth Orchestra. Blending Afrobeat with classical music, they rehearse with Nigeria's Bantu Band and perform Beethoven's Egmont Overture. The project fosters cross-cultural dialogue and musical innovation.
