Fatima Nazish is an award-winning journalist contributing to DW's coverage of Pakistan and the wider South Asia region.

Fatima Nazish is a seasoned journalist with a decade of experience in multimedia storytelling.

Her confident on-screen presence has earned her a reputation as a trusted and reliable media professional.

Fatima worked as editor at DW Urdu, based in Bonn, from 2023 to 2024. She has since returned to Pakistan and been contributing to DW's coverage of the country.  

During her career, Fatima has also worked with other media outlets like BBC Urdu, Radio Pakistan, Independent News, HUM News, Khyber TV and PTV News. 

She has won several awards in recognition of her work, including UN Women's 2022 Award for extensive reporting on 16 Days of Activism, International Religious Freedom Award USA, the ILO labor award 2022 and South Asia Gender Sensitive Reporting Award from Laadli Media in 2023, among others.
