EV charging 'deserts' hold back industry growth

Even the most EV-crazed countries can have what are known as charging deserts where your electric car could run out of juice any minute. Why have these areas been overlooked? And how do we get charging stations there?

In recent years lots of charging infrastructure for electric cars has been rolled out to support EV road trips. But travelling long distances with an electric car can still be a real challenge in rural and low income areas.
