ECB struggles to keep the Euro stable # 21.09.2011 20 Uhr # Journal Englisch

The European Central Bank seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place these days. On the one hand it's expected to support debt ridden Eurozone states to prevent the crisis from spreading - on the other it supposed to stay out of politics and leave any rescue measures to the countries concerned. And while this debate is going on, the ECB struggles to get one of its most important tasks done, namely keeping the Euro stable.
