The media conference in Germany with an international focus

With this conference, Germany’s international broadcaster has created a platform for intercultural exchange between global media players – including many of our partners – and decision makers from politics, culture, business, international development and science. These participants have the opportunity to develop interdisciplinary solutions for globalization challenges in which media plays a deciding role.

The first in the series took place June 2-4, 2008 in Bonn Germany. The focus was placed on media in peacebuilding and conflict prevention and welcomed keynote speaker Shirin Ebadi, the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate from Iran.
