Demo in Prague

Anti-government demonstrators packed Prague’s Wenceslas Square over the weekend for what trades unions called the biggest protest since the fall of communism in 1989.

The demonstration was held in protest at the government’s austerity measures. Unions say the cuts are targeting the poor and the vulnerable. And as Rob Cameron reports from Prague, the rising anger comes as the Czech government is fighting to avoid collapse.
