Charlie Kirk, a hard-line conservative commentator popular with young Americans on the right end of the ideological spectrum, was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, in Utah. He was an outspoken Trump supporter.

Charlie Kirk was killed during an event at Utah Valley University. US President Donald Trump said Kirk was "a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty and an inspiration to millions and millions of people." A manhunt has begun to find his killer, who escape from the scene after the shooting.
