Day 3 of Pistorious bail hearing begins

The bail hearing for athlete Oscar Pistorius has taken an unusual turn after it emerged the lead detective has himself been charged with seven counts of attempted murder and made errors in the initial investigation.

Pistorius detective loses case

South African police have put a new detective in charge of the Oscar Pistorius prosecution, after attempted murder charges against the initial lead detective surfaced. Pistorius' bail hearing is ongoing.

Investigator facing charges

The lead investigator in the Oscar Pistorius murder case has been charged with attempted murder, according to South African police. On the third day of bail hearings, the defense is seeking to discredit police action.

Pistorius shooting 'a mistake'

Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius has denied a premeditated murder charge, saying he mistook his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp, for an intruder. His comments came as Steenkamp's family held a private memorial service.

Pistorius 'fired four shots'

Prosecutors in South Africa have accused paralympic star Oscar Pistorius of shooting his girlfriend model Reeva Steenkamp "four times." His second court appearance came as Steenkamp's family held a memorial service.
