Bhopal disaster survivors decry toxic waste burning

In 1984, toxic gas from a pesticide factory killed thousands in Bhopal, India, one of the worst industrial disasters in history. Forty years later, authorities have only just begun to deal with some of the toxic waste — by burning it. Locals have been protesting the plan, which they say is damaging their health.
