Anna Schild

Anna Schild is an innovation manager at DW ReCo's team and also part of DW's fact-checking team as an OSINT researcher.
Anna studied Media and Communication Studies in Berlin, Lyon and Mannheim. She joined DW Innovation in 2022, after working as a product manager for Berlin-based publisher Der Tagesspiegel.
As an innovation manager at DW, she is specialised in the research of disinformation and verification technologies and aims to translate this research into practical tools for journalists, human rights activists, and everyone else who needs to verify information.
She joined DW’s fact-checking team as an OSINT researcher in 2025.
