Airbus is a European aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells aircraft. With around 130,000 employees, it is one of the largest airplane manufacturers in the world.

Airbus wins Lion Air mega deal

The United States' Air Leasing Corporation (ALC) has placed a giant order for airliners built by top European manufacturer Airbus, a subsidiary of EADS. The move is expected to help Airbus compete with US rival Boeing.
